Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, Ma has seen a drop in inventory in the last 6 months to a year. Condos have been selling and for very good prices. Ocean Edge rentals remain strong and the Resort continues to maintain a beautiful grounds and ammenities. We are seeing townhouses sell under $200k when in their hayday were selling for well over $300k. The 1 bedrooms have seen their condo fees drop from $400's to $285 and selling in the low $100's. Some owners rent them for up to $1000 per week in the prime season with a membership. Ocean Edge is a one of a kind resort on Cape Cod and very hard to find such a well cared for resort with very little rental restrictions. Most of the owners choose to rent out their condo at least for a couple of weeks to help pay for some of the fees. There are still some great deals out there but you can't be shy and wait on the sidelines to act. The time is now, with the fall market coming up sellers are thinking of selling and having to winterize their condos. Interest rates remain low and no one is sure what they will do and when.
